SAPSASA Hockey

Last week on 20-24 June I went to SAPSASA Hockey. I was playing in the Upper South East team. In the first game we won 2-1, then we another game and won 5-0. We played 11 games in total for the week. We won 7 games, drew 3 and lost 1. Unfortunately the one we lost we really needed to win. Overall our team came third. Our USE girls team did really well and came fourth. Our combined teams came second for the week. It was a good fast paced week.

Arbury Park Outdoor School

During the 11th – 13th of may 2011 Keith year 5/6 went to Arbury Park Outdoor School for our camp. Some of the activity’s we could do were bird box making, orienteering, earth art and the Mount George Hike. Once we got told all the rules we played web of life. Web of life was very fast paced game where you had to be fit to survive. There was 5 carnivores and one top carnivore. They had to chase you and if they caught you you had to give them a life card. Everyone had 8 life cards to start with. There was also Death and Destruction. They could call out your name and you had to give them a life card.

The Best Day I’ve Ever Had At School

On Friday week 6 we went over to the ag block and started a fire to make damper. Then we went over to the oval to watch the tiger reconnaissance helicopter land and there was grass flying everywhere. It was fun making the dough and we got to knead it with our hands. It was fun watching the race to see who could finish their damper first. Then we made our way back to the oval to watch it take off. Then we went back to the ag block and ate our damper.
